There were big Family group members ..elder and kids hanging around my floor lift lobby..playing and running..creating a lot of noise..They are not staying inside their room..This could advise the hotel to take note of..

Definitely a recommend place to stay in Bandung city, a very lovely experience overall.

Service by all the staff was excellent. Room was spacious, with sufficient amenities. Breakfast buffet did not disappoint, plenty of options. Location is great if you intend to explore Bandung's city, and availability of taxis and Grab/Gojek is plenty.

Only complaint is regarding the lift maintenance, only one lift was operational during the stay, however the staff were gracious to allow the use of the service elevator when the queue for the only operational lift was too long.

Location was good near commercial areas,

The main entrance is mixed with parking and transit of cars. Towels quality can improve and they did not provide face towels if not requested.

Nice hotel, rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast and some improvements can be made for such price.

The location, entrance, rooms, and breakfast are very much okay. The swimming pool is great, due to the great view. Nico shop on the ground floor with very reasonable prices.

Extra elevator. For such a large hotel more than 2 are needed to prevent long waiting queues and times. Quite expensive in comparison with other hotels with similar services, rooms, etc. Administrative wise improvements could be made: I booked 6 rooms for a business trip with a credit card, suddenly I received the message that I needed to confirm again due to some credit card problems (which is strange, it is linked to my booking_account and was also accepted for bookings in other hotels). It ends that I needed to rebook, for a higher price. I made reservations for 6 rooms with breakfast, but there was a lot of confusion, first, they told me that I booked only one room with breakfast. The check-in procedure was a bit long. Guide your staff on the top (great view, by the way, friendly people), that a glass of wine contains more cc (it's not liquor)

Again we liked the free upgrade to the suite, and also the cleaning staff and the staff in the restaurant on the first floor were really polite and doing a great job of giving a awesome customer experience journey So thanks for that

What we didn't like were the following; We missed the awesome customer experience in the service, instead we got treated like were didn't belong there. Thanks to the lovely receptionist ladies on arrival day. When we arrived we wanted to eat on the rooftop of the hotel. Instead of helping us, the service was like please go to the first floor there is a restaurant, we are now organising an event... (To us it was like, these people have priority above the normal guests staying here) That night my husband got a massage, that is provided by Mercure City Centre. Well he came back feeling disgusting. He said that the masseuse was more like petting and sort of teasing him. He came back early, like after 45 min (60 min massage) And the biggest reason why was he had a feeling that this was no ordinary massage. That night we we wanted to have some drinks on the rooftop with family of mine, but afterwards we had to pay with card or cash. No deposit was made. And the weird thing is, we had lunch earlier and we could write the bill on the room. So after waving goodbye to my family we asked for an explanation. And the first thing the first lady at the reception said was, "would you like to pay cash or card for the lunch" Ok forget about cross selling and forget about hospitality. My husband explained that while he has a fever card from TransferWise (MasterCard) that it is still possible to make a deposit. So a second lady rudely interrupted us, tool the card and while swiping the card said "Well I hope you are right". That night logging in to the WiFi you can leave a comment, well we both did. Also that night we could barely sleep, cause of the outside noise you hear clearly. The traffic, the mosques and the church. Well that is our own fault we didn't investigate the surroundings first. So the second day we saw that the in the bathroom the toilet was leaking, and was also on our third day.

Comfort close to the city center

Excellent breakfast! Modern, european style room. I prefer It more cosy, but that is just my personel taste. Rooftop bar and pool is really great!!! Perfect stay during our family trip.

My favourite part is the rain shower.

The spa staff. Bad massage techniques for what we paid. They need more training and also spa rooms wasn’t good at all because no relaxation music during massage

Horrible. Smelly and dirty towels and linen.

Breakfast was good. Overall hotel was ok. Night time despite being on 6th floor and later 8th floor it was noisy at night. Football match took place next to the hotel which was loud and noisy. Condition of room was shocking. Asked for connecting room did not get it the first night. Was given a connecting room the next day. Won a 1 night and 2 days stay whilst staying at Mercure Penang but Mercure Bandung demanded that at time of booking, I should have rung them to give them at least one week's notice to use free voucher. I actually gave them more than 10 days notice at time of booking in writing and it was not recognized until I asked to see the manager. Manager was a nice young girl who later apologised for the mistake and honoured the free stay. Towels were dirty, smelly and almost brown and grey in colour. Demanded for cleaner towels and still was given another set of dirty towels.Floor in one of the rooms was dirty. Black colour stains seen on the floor. Bathroom was dirty. Not cleaned well. Was told by housekeeping that they use the towels supplied for bathing to wipe the bathrooms and later sent for washing. In my 3 night stay, I never received white clean towels. All towels received were brown or grey colour sometime with black stains. Bed sheet had stains. Oil like stains. Doona cover had stains also oil like. Had to get house keeping to change the bedsheets. No alarm clock available in the rooms. Last but not least, reception staff needs to be trained in speaking English properly.

The staff was friendly.

The bathroom was dirty, it was not clean, behind the bathroom door was a lot of dust, dirt and hair, the shower looked like it haven't been cleaned not even wiped down. 1 of the small lights in the room was not working, the pillow case had a bit of stains and the towels was not even white anymore they were gray and looked like it needed to be replaced with new ones and 1 of the 2 towels we got was smelly. The staff were good, that is why i didn't complain and also i was only there for 1 night.

The superior room is spacious & clean. It’s good enough for family with 2 children. The rooftop view also cool especially at night.

The food just looks has many variety but so sorry the food doesn’t taste good. There wasn’t any good food. Even for Indonesian traditional foods such as nasi goreng, nasi uduk, ayam gulai, bubur ayam etc the taste wasn’t good. Below expectations for 4star hotel. The swimming pool water in the rooftop was so dirty. We decided not to swim. The water was murky :(

Children eats free for breakfast buffet.

The parking...shouldn’t let vehicles parked at the entrance of the hotel. It’s difficult for the guest vehicle to pick up and alighting the guest especially those with babies n prams. And when we went shopping, the grab driver have to alight us by the roadside ,he can’t enter the hotel entrance coz there’s so many parked car. I don’t understand the rationale of car parking in front of the hotel entrance. It should be free from vehicles for easy access of the guest or visitors for fetching and alighting.

Great place to stay in Bandung

I book the executive room while staying in Mercure Bandung. The room is amazing with snack/tea time provided to the executive floor. Additional the free minibar for executive room is great too. The hotel is located at city center which is close to various places. The price of the hotel is quite good given the quality of service provided.

The parking is insufficient incomparison to their hotel size meaning you need to waste almost 15 mins just to park your car. Would suggest that hotel obtain another parking location.
